This song was written right after the horrific incident which occurred on June 17, 2015 where a white man opened fire in a historic black church, in Charleston, South Carolina killing nine people, including a pastor, during a prayer meeting. The occurrence was so tragic where my I felt our world was set on fire and perhaps coming to an end. I felt the only place I saw peace, freedom and happiness were in my dreams of a better world.
